Growing Hope, one seed at a time

Empowering food desert communities through urban agriculture, education, and connection.

About Us

About Us

Two people, a woman with long braided hair and a man with sunglasses, are standing outdoors in a garden or farm field. The woman holds a potted plant while the man observes. There are additional potted plants on the ground nearby, and a row of small seedlings in a container. Residential houses and a green field are visible in the background.

Budded Mattah Urban Agriculture is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to transforming food deserts into vibrant, sustainable communities. Through education, fresh produce sales, and community engagement, we empower residents to grow their own food and inspire hope.

Our for-profit arm supports our mission by selling locally grown produce, ensuring accessibility and sustainability.
